I dreamed and created Let Love Reign in my former hometown of Charlotte, NC in 2009.

These are the folks who helped me make beautiful magic together:

CRYSTAL – FAIRY GODMOTHER & MENTOR EXTRAORDINAIRE

Why am I involved? Love is love. All rights should be equal.

Crystal Dempsey owns From The Hip Communications, a Charlotte-based communications consulting company that helps people, nonprofits and businesses tell their story.

JUAN – DESIGN HERO

Why? Because one of the most important things in life is to co-exist and respect each other, despite our differences. Love is love.

Juan Miguel, originally from Quito, Ecuador, was the Creative Director for the project, and conceptualized and designed the identity of the Let Love Reign campaign. You can see Juan’s work at JuanMarin.me

JON – WEB DESIGNER & DEVELOPER

I participated in this project for Catalina, a friend who shared a belief in equality in marriage and was passionate enough to make a stand.

Jon Aron is the designer/developer behind 1310 Studios, a branding & web studio in Charlotte, NC.

JIM – COPYWRITER

I chose to participate in this project after a friend introduced me to Catalina. I decided that she was right. Love is love.  Jim is a father, husband, writer  and founder of smashcommunications. He shares his thoughts at Obsessed With Conformity. He believes in the power of good; likes dogs, summer and baseball.

SAM – HAIR & MAKEUP EXTRAORDINAIRE

Samantha Smith is one of the most requested make-up artists in Charlotte. Her TV/film experience includes “Shaq Vs. Dale Earnhardt Jr.,” “Today,” and NASCAR. Smith’s editorial portfolio includes work for Town & Country, Domino (cover) and Weddings Unveiled. And she’s worked runway shows for Miami Fashion Week, Heatherette and couture bridal houses. http://www.SamanthaAlexandra.com

JERLLIN CHENG - LLR BLOG WRITER

I got involved with LLR simply because I believe in it. These stories need to be told. It's important that we try to understand the humanity in all of us, and how coming from a place of love is always more productive than a base of hate. Let Love Reign is extraordinarily resonant, and I know will go a long way in tipping the scales.

CRISTINA – FILMMAKER

Cristina Cassidy is a documentary filmmaker and also runs a video production company in Charlotte, NC. She is currently producing a feature-length documentary called Concerto for Two Brothers.

MICHAEL – PHOTOGRAPHER, LENDER OF GEAR AND STUDIO SPACE

When asked to contribute my studio space for the shooting of LLR I jumped at the chance. How exciting! First of all, for me, it was an opportunity to give back. On my journey to becoming a photographer I have had many friends and acquaintances lend a hand. From great deals on shooting spaces to guiding hands from art directors I have felt much love. Without these people my journey would have been much tougher. So, giving back to another photographer was one way to say thanks to all those that helped me.

Second, LOVE! Let’s let it reign. Why not? In today’s world if there is one thing we need more than anything else, it’s love. Love that cares without judgment. Just let people love and let’s let this world heal.
